Make Do Monday – Knitting in October

At the beginning of October I started working on a scarf and was curious if anyone else had some knitting projects in progress. I’ve had a couple of ladies share their wonderful work, scroll down for inspiration!intarLindsay is knitting on this beautiful piece, amazing work and lovely colours!dianajsijDiana has been very busy knitting squares and making a scarf. dianaknitShe also knitted the cardigan above for her WVS dress and now she’s knitting doll’s sleeping bags for her two granddaughters for Christmas!scarfThank you so much for sharing your knitting projects! I am still working on my scarf but hope to have it off the needles by the end of the week!

Make Do Monday – Knitting

I hope you have all had a wonderful summer! As we are now entering October and I’ve got my knitting needles out from hibernation, I thought it would be nice to inspire each other with some making and mending!

I would love to know what is on your needles? Have you recently repurposed something? Are you working with a vintage sewing pattern?
14569059_10157583744835323_739897155_nI have just cast on 55 stitches and am planning to knit and purl until I’ve got a decent sized scarf. I am not much of a knitter but I’m hoping this is a good place to start.

Email a photo with the subject bar reading Make do Monday or you send us a pic or tell us what you are making on The Dig for Victory Show Facebook page! I’ll make a compilation before the end of the month and hopefully we can inspire each other to get crafty this autumn.

What is on your “I want to make this” wish list?
