How to get that 1940s look!

Happy Monday everyone,

Have you been practicing victory rolls all weekend like I have? The wonderful illustrator Lara Lockwood made this poster for the Dig for Victory Show programme a couple of years ago but it’s still a handy guide!

If you’ve tried but can’t make your rolls stay up, Poppy’s Hair Salon will be back at this years show!

The lovely Poppy’s ladies will pin your hair up 40s style, whether it is to go to the Victory Dance on the Saturday night or just to get into the Forties fun!

Poppy’s run on an appointment system both days – so make sure you book a spot as soon as you arrive, they are always very popular and book up quickly!

Don’t forget that you can buy tickets to the show online today! The Saturday Night Dance tickets are flying off the shelf so book now to avoid missing out!

We do recommend bringing cash as the closest cash-machine is in Nailsea. We’ve got performers and live music playing all throughout the day with our Dj UXB keeping you on your toes in between!
